3 Beginner Tips to Play Geometry Dash Meltdown

Geometry Dash Meltdown may just be a spin-off or a preview of the main game, but it does not mean that it’s less punishing than its predecessors. In fact, casual gamers can easily learn how the game works as it is playable simply by clicking the mouse. Moreover, the game also does not have complicated rules and the gameplay itself is seamless. However, do not be deceived by the modest gameplay structure of this game as it comes with challenges that are near impossible to overcome. With that said, if you are new to the game and are stuck on the first level, then maybe you should consider checking out some of our beginner’s tips below.

Tip 1: Headphones

One of the main selling points of Geometry Dash Meltdown is the original soundtrack embedded within its core. After all, it is a rhythm game. One of the most interesting things about the Geometry Dash series is that you need to find the right beat to follow when playing. As most rhythm games employ the use of bass for timing, Geometry Dash Meltdown cleverly conceals that beat within the background music. With that in mind, it is highly recommended to play this game using your best headphones for you to pinpoint that specific beat or rhythm.

Geometry Dash Meltdown Collectibles

Tip 2: Collectibles

Geometry Dash Meltdown features collectibles concealed within each level. It is best to take note of the location of these items especially when you are in Practice mode. The collectibles in the game will serve as your key to unlocking new characters in the game. Unless you prefer playing with just the default character, then you can just skip this tip.

Tip 3: Practice

As you may have known already, there are two game modes available for each level in Geometry Dash Meltdown. The first mode pertains to the level of difficulty—easy, normal, and hard. The second is Practice Mode, which is accessible only while you are playing in one of the levels. You can switch to practice mode by clicking the pause button on the upper right side of the screen.

Take advantage of Practice mode if you want to memorize the outline of the level. Unlike the regular mode that takes you back to the starting point of the level during death, the game automatically creates a checkpoint in practice mode. This means that you can play through the entire level and take note of the various areas easily.

Now that you know these tips, make sure to keep these in mind every time you play Geometry Dash Meltdown. Not only will it be easier for you to play the game, but you will also enjoy the game more. Download it here for free.
